WESTLAKE District Weddings ,St. Peter's Lutheran Church, decorated with white, yellow and pink snapdragons and brass candelabra, was the setting for the marriage of Tanya Jill Parkins, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. James Parkins, Zurich, and Charles Gordon Erb, son of Mr. & Mrs. Gordon Erb, RR 2, Zurich when the couple exchanged rings in a ceremony performed by Rev. A. C. Blackwell. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a chantilly lace gown with fitted bodice and pearl beaded trim. Her ensemble was completed by a full chapel train and a flowing mantilla style veil and the bouquet was a nosegay cascade of red sweetheart roses and white carnations. Bridal attendants were Mrs. Jack Stephan, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, and the sisters of the groom, Carol and Marjorie Erb were bridesmaids. Junior bridesmaid, Jane Willert, and the maid of honor were gowned the same in yellow A-line dresses with guipure lace trim. Their flowers were yellow roses and white carnations. The bridesmaids wore identical gowns to them in blush pink and carried nosegays of pink roses and white carnations. Jack Stephan was groomsman and Terry Black and Paul Steckle acted as ushers. Acoylite was Philip Erb, brother of the groom, and Clare Jantzi, an uncle was at the organ console. After the reception held at the Zurich Community Centre, the happy couple left by plane for a honeymoon in Bermuda. They will reside in Zurich where the groom is employed at Mousseau and Parkins Garage and the bride at the Bluewater Rest Home. Vedtedee- Vethelet Bethel Reformed Church, Exeter, decorated with baskets of pink and white flowers and candelabra was the scene of the exchange of vows between Hilda Bonnie Deelstrr, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. George Deelstra, RR 1, Centralia, and Milo Henry Westlake, son of Mr. 8z Mrs. William Westlake, Exeter, May 23,1970. Rev. Harmen Heeg officiated and Mrs. Gary Van Steeg played the wedding music. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father and was lovely in a gown of while silk organdy with French lace trimmings and a short illusion veil held by a floral headpiece. She carried a nosegay of pink roses, feathered carnations and lily of the valley. The maid of honor, Bonnie Deelstra, and bridesmaids, Rosemarie Westlake and Trene Deelstra, wore dresses of royal blue de charm, finished with silver and gold trim. Their bouquets were nosegays of pink miniature carnations with velvet streamers. Floyd Westlake was best man for the groom while John Deelstra, and Harold Westlake acted as ushers. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Dashwood Community Centre, after which the bride changed to a mauve linen pant suit travelling outfit to commence a wedding trip with the groom through Michigan and Northern Ontario. Mr. & Mrs. Westlake will reside at 36 William Street, Exeter. The groom is employed at Boise Cascade, Hensall, and the bride works at Space-Pak International Ltd., Centralia. Euea - 'Coye Baskets of mauve and yellow mums formed the setting in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, when Rev. Father R. J. Groome performed the marriage rites for Mary Lou Boyle, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Leo Boyle, RR 2, Lucan, and John Robert Breen, son of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Breen, Centralia. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a gown of French floral lace fashioned in empire lines with frilled wrist length sleeves and detachable chapel train. A blended headpiece held her four tiered illusion facer veil and she carried a cascade of yellow roses and trailing ivy. The bridal attendants were Mrs. Darlene Lightfoot, sister of the bride, Mrs. Laura Ann Overholt, and Diane Breen, the groom's sister. They were gowned in lilac chiffon floor length gowns with hairpin lace applique on bodices, mandarin necklines and on the cuffs of thAr, wrist lengt11.,. sleevei.' Matching', mohair bows completed the outfits. Paul Dietrich played the wedding music, while Donald Lightfoot was best man, and Glen Overholt and Bruce Breen ushered the guests. Following a reception at Dashwood Community Centre the couple left for a wedding trip to Sault St. Marie and northern Michigan, •;,he bride wearing a daffodil yellow ensemble of satin ribbon brocade which included a sheath dress and a coat with braid trimming at the neckline and down the front. The couple will reside at 213 Columbia Drive, Huron Park. Prior to her marriage the bride was feted at a shower at the home of Mrs. Martha Baker, London, by her co-workers and a community party was held for her at the Centralia Community Centre. Grace Marie Riley became the bride of Richard Ivan Bender at Blake Mennonite Church, June 0, when Rev. Ephriam Gingerich performed the marriage ceremony. The church was decorated with shasta daisies 4nd mums. The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Nelson Riley, RR 2, Kippen, and Mr. & Mrs. Ivan Bender, RR, 2, Tavistock are the parents of the groom. The wedding music was sung by a quartet, Irvin Martin, Stuart Steckle, Stanley Gingerich and Mark Yantzi. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an A-line gown with empire waistline of organza over taffeta. It featured a ceaffau neckline, long sleeves, and a detachable train. Her headpiece was a cluster of flowers with pearls and crushed sequins which held a bouffant veil. She carried a cascade of yellow roses, stephanotis and ivy. The maid of honour Mrs. Marlene Gingerich, sister of the bride chose a long mint green dress of hammered peau de satin with a back panel of French satin organza. Bridesmaids, Eleanor Riley and Doris Riley, also sisters of the bride, chose identical gowns with matching headpieces., The attendants carried colonial bouquets of shasta daisies. Dorcas Gingerich, the bride's neice was flower girl and was dressed in a white gown designed like the bridesmaids. She carried a nosegay of tiny yellow roses and stephanotis. Tarpley, of Deerfield Beach, Florida, are visiting Mrs. Tarpley's daughter and son-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Borden (Andy) Anderson. They were here to welcome a new grandson, Neil Hedley.
