MR. & MRS. LARRY D. PR ESZCATOR 'Pix Peake'
Decorated with pink gladioli
and white mums, St. Boniface
Church, Zurich, was the setting
of a pretty wedding when
Sandra Jean O'Rourke, daughter
of Mr. & Mrs. Gerald O'Rourke,
Zurich, and Larry D. Preszcator,
son of Stanley Preszcator and
the late Mrs. Francis Preszcator,
Crediton, were united in
marriage.
Escorted down the aisle by
her father, the bride was
charming in a full length dress of
lagoda which featured a high
neckline and bolero appliqued
with blossoms. Her long train,
shoulder length veil, and head
piece of lagoda petals and seed
pearls, completed her ensemble.
She carried a sunburst nosegay
of white carnations and
sweetheart roses.
Sister of the bride, Mrs.
Raymond Ducharme, Sarnia,
was matron of honor and was
gowned in a Victorian styled
dress of pink lagoda trimmed
with ruffles and velvet ribbon.
The bridesmaids were Mrs.
Larry Robinson, Kippen,
Tammy Preszcator, sister of the
groom, and Rose Marie Grenier,
Dashwood. Kim Ducharme,
niece of the bride, was flower
girl and all attendants were
attired the same as the matron
of honour. Their flowers were
nosegays of spring flowers.
Standing up with the groom
was groomsman, Larry
Robinson, Kippen, and the
Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Hern,
Larry and Gordon visited with
Mr. & Mrs. Melville Gunning and
Muriel, Sunday after attending
service at Exeter United Church.
ACCEPTS POSITION
Renny Plantinga, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Plantinga,
Exeter, has accepted a position
as a receptionist and part-time
broadcaster at CKOX Radio in
Woodstock.
She is a graduate of South
Huron District High School and
has her diploma from the
National Institute of Radio and
TV Broadcasting Course.
She was formerly employed
by Dobson Roofing Limited,
and the Ontario Provincial Police
in Exeter.

The United Way
guests were ushered to their
places by Dave Cottle and
Edward Preszcator, both of
Crediton,
Mrs. Stephen Meidinger
supplied the wedding music and
accompanied Linda O'Rourke,
the soloist.
The reception was held at the
Dashwood Community Centre,
after which, the bride changed
into a two piece plaid suit with
brown accessories to travel to
Mount Airy Lodge, Mount
Pocona, Pennsylvania, for a
honeymoon with her husband.
Mr. and Mrs. Preszcator will
reside at 93 Douro Street,
Stratford.
Jacqueline (Bonnie) Prior
became the bride of Wayne
Charles Keller at Zurich
Lutheran Church when Rev.
Andrew C. Blackwell performed
the marriage ceremony before
the altar decorated with white
mums and candelabra.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. & Mrs. James Dinsmore, RR
2, Zurich, and Mr. & Mrs. Herb
Keller, RR 3, Zurich, are the
parents of the groom.
The wedding music was
played by Mrs. Fred Haberer
who also accompanied the
soloist, Elaine Westlake, both of
Zurich.
Given in marriage by her
father, the lovely bride wore a
long, A-line white sateen gown
with empire waist and short
sleeves. Her short train was of
matching material and a floral
and crystal headpiece held a
three tiered shoulder length veil.
Her flowers were miniature
carnations and roses in an
Edwardian bouquet,
The maid of honor, Mrs.
Larry Merner, Zurich, chose a
dress of gold sateen with
Christina Ellen Wilhelm and
Robert Wayne Cubberley
exchanged their marriage vows
in front of Rev. Susan Seymour
in Granton United Church,
which was tastefully decorated
with white mums, May 2, 1970.
Mr. & Mrs. Russel Wilhelm,
Exeter, are the bride's parents
and the groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Jack Cubberley, St.
Marys.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride was radiant in
an empire-styled gown of rayon
taffeta which featured long
sleeves trimmed with lace, a
stand up collar, and detachable
train. Her head piece was
composed of satin lilacs
accented with pearl-like buds.
She carried a bouquet of red
roses.
The matron of honor was
Mrs. Nancy Marshall, Granton,
and Mrs. Linda Cubberley, Jill
Kemp and Karen Cubberley, all
of St. Marys, were the
bridesmaids, They were gowned
in empire style dresses with
brocaded white skirts, topped
with purple velvet bodices,
trimmed with mauve lace. Their
bouquets were deep pink
matching head piece and shoes.
Margaret Ruth, Mrs. Don
Smith and Debbie Eckle were
bridesmaids and wore mint green
dresses in the same style as the
maid of honor's. They all carried
Edwardian bouquets of stocks
and tinted carnations.
The best man was Larry
Merner, Zurich; and Ken Theft,
Zurich and Tom Merner,
London were the ushers. The
junior groomsman was Larry
Keller, brother of the groom.
After the reception at the
Dashwood Community Centre,
the bride donned an aqua coat
and dress ensemble with white
accessories, to commence her
trip to the southern states where
the happy couple honeymooned.
The newly-weds will reside in
London where the bride is
employed at St. Joseph's
Hospital. The groom works at
Ford Motor Plant, Talbotville.
Prior to the wedding the bride
was feted at showers in Zurich
by Mrs. Larry Merner, Mrs. C.
Eckle, Mrs. B. Desch and Mrs. B.
McKinley.

Cubberley, St. Marys and the
wedding guests were ushered to
their places by Gordon Marshall,
Granton, Robert Wilhelm and
Jim Cubberley, of St. Marys.
After a reception in the St.
Mary's Legion Hall, the
newlyweds left for a wedding
trip to the northern United
States, the bride wearing an
apricot and grey plaid wool dress
with matching apricot coat and
black accessories,
Mr. & Mrs. Cubberley will
, reside at RR 1, Granton.
