Sunday at the service of
evening prayer and litany Mr,
Carson preached on three kinds
of tithes, those who give one
tenth of their income to the
Church, those who give one
twentieth, and those who give
themselves.
He said the last was the ideal,
but it was the ideal Jesus
demanded. "One must lose his
life in order to find it,"
Mr, Carson went on to point
out that all of us need a primer
just like a pump. The primer is
titheing.
