IRVIN RADER DASHWOOD Mrs. 'Alma Rose Hoperoft passed away in St. Joseph's Ilospital, London, April 1, 1970 in her '78th year. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Hoperoft, Mrs. Hoperoft is survived by four children, Robert J. of Welland, Fred E. of Grand Bend, Russell A. of Strathroy, Mrs. Freeman (Ruth) McGill, London; two brothers, Harry Hopf, Clifford, and Edward Hopf, Niagara Falls, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. KEN McKELLAR CR °MARTY Mr. & Mrs. Mac Lamond returned home on Saturday from a tour of South America, Africa and London, England. ROBERT C. DODDS Robert C. Dodds, 77, of Cromarty died suddenly at his home, Wednesday. He was born in McKillop Township, a son of the late Mr. & Mrs. John Dodds. Mr. Dodds was educated in McKillop and farmed in the area till his retirement in 1960 when he moved to Cromarty. He was a member of Cromarty Presbyterian church. He was married in Winthrop to the former Edna Dolomage. Surviving, besides his wife are three daughters Mrs. Fred (Mary) Riley, Seaforth; Mrs. Harold (Agnes) Glazier, Clinton; Mrs. Norman (Hazel) Harburn, Cromarty; two sons, Norman of Seaforth, Harold, McKillop Township and one brother, Thomas of Florida. Funeral service was held at the G. A. Whitney funeral home, Seaforth, Saturday with Rev. Britton of Seaforth officiating. Temporary entombment was in Pioneer Mausoleum with burial later in Maitland Bank Cemetery.
