There is a strong possibility
that the Lucan-Ilderton Jets will
be back in action in the Ontario
Hockey Association
Intermediate "B" hockey final
this weekend.
Shortly before press time,
Wednesday afternoon,
Lucan-Ilderton manager Don
Urbshott told the T-A, he had
been in touch with the manager
of the Napanee club and it is
possible that Napanee will be at
the Huron Park arena, Saturday
night.
At the moment Napanee leads
Elmvale three games to one and
the fifth game is being played in
Napanee tonight, Thursday,
If Napanee is successful in
tonight's game the first two
games in the best-of-seven
provincial final will be played at
Huron Park arena, this weekend.
The first game Would go at
Huron Park Saturday night at
eight o'clock with the second
slated for Sunday afternoon at
two o'clock,
The Jets would then make the
trip to Napanee the following
weekend for Saturday and
Sunday contests.
