Shown with their prizes above are Robert Pryde, Robert MacGregor and Hensall Minor Hockey Association president Wayne Smith, T-A photo, bus trip, Michigan Exeter, visited with Mr. & Mrs. Ross Hodgert. The Easter pageant "Welcome happy Morning" was well presented Sunday morning during the church service with Mrs. Miner conducting. ELLA MORLOCK CREDITQN Family Night at the Women's Institute was held on Wednesday When sixty-five persons sat down to a smorgasbord supper.. Mrs, Harvey Hodgins presided and welcomed all. The ode and collect were repeated. Thirty dollars were donated to the FWI building project at Guelph. Mrs. Earl Neil chaired the program and Graham Hooper of the Centralia College of Agricultural Technology was the Centralia Farmers Supply Ltd. The Gibson twins favoured with an accordion duet, Mary, June and.Mona Hodgins played a piano trio. Janice Hearn and Debbie and Karen Ford sang two songs and David Rundle played his piano accordion. Sheryl Wein read "Summer Song of a Fain-lees Wife" and Wayne Shapton played a piano solo. Roll call was answered by the husbands of WI members, "How the Farmer and His Wife Can Find More Leisure." After the program the children played bingo downstairs while the adults enjoyed crokinole upstairs. Winners were: ladies' high, Mrs. Sam King; men's high, Earl Neil; ladies' low, Brenda Neil; men's low, Gordon Morlock. There was one table of euchre at which the girls beat the boys. ZION UNITED CHURCH Easter Sunday was celebrated at Zion United Churcy by a Sunrise Service and breakfast in addition to the ten o'clock, worship hour when Rev. Howard Zurbrigg, Hamilton, was guest speaker. Brenda Fahner was chairman; Mary Hodgins led the responsive reading and Bill Hodge read an Easter poem. Barbara Pfaff, Brenda Fahner, Katherine Ratz and Kathie Schenk sang, as did Mrs. Zurbrigg and Miss Doris Schwartz. About 85 guests were served at breakfast by the young people under the direction of Diane Dodge, with the mothers helping in the kitchen. Rev. Zurbrigg also assisted in the ten o'clock service during which Rev. Douglas Warren brought a message on the meaning and power of the resurrection. PERSONALS Captain Earl Whalen, Trenton, spent Easter with Mr, & Mrs. Sam King. In May Capt. Whalen leaves for a year's term of duty in Pakistan. Mrs. Ed. Finkbeiner and Mrs. Ed Lamport attended last Tuesday'S session of the London Conference UCW rally at Central United Church, Stratford. Mrs. William Hodge and family visited Mrs. Hodge's mother in Walkerton, Good Friday. Mr. & Mrs. Walter Fydenchuk and family spent part of Winter Vacation week with relatives in Lansing, Michigan. Mrs. Freeman Morlock and Mrs, Alvin Finkbeiner were in Pittsburgh last week to attend a service conducted by Kathryn Kuhlman. They travelled by chartered bus with a group from Exeter and Parkhill. Mr. & Mrs. George Richmond, Simcoe, visited Friday with Mr. & Mrs, G. E. Wenzel. Mrs, Richmond is a sister of Mrs. Wenzel.
