By MRS, IRVIN RADER DASHWOOD Mrs. Amelia Klumpp, the former Amelia Ehlers, widow of the late Thomas Klumpp passed away in South Huron Hospital Tuesday, March 31, 1970, in her 81st year. She is survived by her two sons, Maurice of London, and Howard of Dashwood, two grandchildren and two N. great-grandchildren, The funeral will be conducted from the T. Harry Hoffman Funeral Home Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev, Bruce Guy officiating. Interment will be in Dashwood E.U.B. Cemetery. BIRTHDAY PARTY Dashwood Women's Institute was in charge of the monthly birthday at Huronview, March 25. Several members accompanied by children of the community journeyed to Clinton by bus and conducted a program consisting of a singsong, old time music by Hilton Ford and Henry Green of Exeter, duets, piano and accordion selections, readings and a square dance. Twenty-five birthday gifts were distributed and a lunch of birthday cake and sandwiches was served. EASTER CHURCH SERVICES Special Easter services were held in the United and Lutheran churches. An Easter Sunrise Service took place in the United Church with the Couples' Club in charge. Bill Hoffman was chairman and three recordings, The Impossible Dream and two by Homer James were presehted. These were interspersed by 4 scripture readings in modern language. It was closed with a record by Tennessee Ernie Ford. A breakfast of bacon and eggs was served to 75 by the 3\T's ladies Sunday School class.
