one year ago March 22, 1969.
You suffered so much in silence
Your spirit did not bend
You faced your post with
courage
Until the very end.
In tears we saw you sinking
We watched you fade away;
Our hearts were almost broken
You fought so hard to stay.
Then we saw you sleeping
So peacefully free from pain;
We could not wish you back
with us
To suffer so again,
When we see your picture
You seem to smile and say
Don't worry about me, darling
We will meet again some day.
- Lovingly remembered and
sadly missed by his wife, Ola,
sons John and Dale,
daughters Leona, Barbara and
