Mrs. Ted Insley opened the meeting with quiet music and Mrs. Ted Brine gave the theme on Easter. Mrs. Elmer Stevens read the scripture followed by readings by Mrs. Ted Brine and Mrs. Bob Robinson, and an 'instrumental by Mrs. Marvin Hartwick. Mrs. Don Atkinson introduced the guest speaker Dr. Rokeby-Thomas of Kirkton who spoke and showed pictures of Palestine. The president Mrs. Ken Parkinson conducted the business and read an invitation from the Anglican Church Women in Kirkton to a social evening later in March. MESSENGERS The regular meeting of the Messengers was held March 15 with 22 members present. Pamela Rodd read the scripture and led in prayer. The Ministerial hopes the course will help young people to prepare themselves for a happy and harmonious marriage. The first session will cover law, finance and money management, Peter Raymond, lawyer, Ray Murley, bank manager, and Mrs. Dorothy Balsdon, home economist will conduct the class. Basil Hall, Social worker, Psychiatric Hospital, Goderich will be in charge of the second session on emotional stress and mental health, and a Personality Profile, Part I. For the third meeting, Dr. Wally Read, M.D., and Rev. Charles Scott, B.A., B.D., Gives advice about drugs Exeter Police Chief Ted Day this week issued a few words of advice to parents in the light of increased publicity concerning the use of drugs by teenagers.
