Sunday, the sermon topic,
was on Town and Country. Rev.
Carson suggested the town and
country would disappear if the
church and politicians do not
give rigorous leadership. He said
for years the rural areas supplied
labour to the cities at no cost in
education for the city. But since
1942 the urban birth rate has
increased so fast that the cities
are having trouble keeping up to
the financial strain of education
costs.
