The Jets were trounced 9-2 by the Durham Huskies and lost almost all hope of finishing first in the league standings. The only hope for the Jets is to have the FergusThistles upset the Durham club in their last game of the season. Durham and Cheltenham will meet in a best-of-five series while the Jets and Acton and Elmira and Fergus are meeting in bestof-five rounds. The first game of play-off action for the L I club will be at Huron Park arena, Tuesday, February 10 at 8:30 with the Acton Tanners supplying the opposition.
