The girls sang carols and passed out gifts and treats. A party followed at the home of Mrs. Fred Parkinson. Mr. & Mrs. Clarence Thomson and family were Sunday guests with Mr. & Mrs. Glenn Jeffrey, Alan and Connie of Thames Road. Misses Blanche and Rhea Mills were guests on Friday with Mr. & Mrs. Don Rixon and family of London. Misses Janice Thomson, Brenda Parkinson, Cathy Thacker and Betty Jean Miller attended the Toc Alpha Conference in Niagara Falls last week. Guests on Sunday with Mr. & Mrs. Reg McCurdy were Mr. House burns at Brinsley By GORDON MORLEY BRINSLEY A century year old home one-half mile east of Brinsley, owned by a London man, William Wood was totally destroyed by fire on Friday morning along with numerous valuable antiques. Fire Chief Jack Branston of Ailsa Craig responded to the call but the fire was too far advanced to extinguish. Miss Debbie Lewis was confined to South Huron Hospital for a few days following an accident at the home of her grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Harvey Andrews on New Years Day.
