NOTICE
TOWNSHIP OF USBORNE
The Township of Usborne re-
quests the co-operation of the
ratepayers regarding the park-
ing of cars and other vehicles
on Township roads during the
period in which snow-clearing
operation is necessary.
This action interferes with
snow-plowing and continuation
of this practice may lead to
the vehicle being towed away
at the owner's expense.
Also further co-operation is
asked for in the matter of
pushing or dumping snow or
ice out of private driveways
onto public roads as this prac-
tice could lead to an accident,
in the event of which the rate-
payer concerned could he held
liable.

TOWNSHIP OF BIDDULPH
BY-LAW NO. 21, 1969
A By-law to raise $300,000.00
to aid in the construction of
tile, stone or timber drains.
The Council of the Township
of Biddulph; pursuant to The
Tile Drainage Act, enacts as
follows:
1. The Reeve may from time
to time, subject to the provi-
sions of this by-law, borrow on
the credit of the corporation
of the Municipality such sum
not exceeding in the whole
$300,000.00, as may be deter-
mined by the Council, and may
in manner hereinafter provided,
issue debentures of the cor-
poration in such sums as the
Council may deem proper for
the amount so borrowed, with
coupons attached as provided
in Section 4 of the Act.
2. Subject to Section 10 of
The Tile Drainage Act, when
the Council is of opinion that
the application of any person
to borrow money for the pur-
pose of constructing a tile,
stone or timber drain should
be granted in whole or in part,
the Council may, by resolution,
direct the Reeve to issue de-
bentures as aforesaid and to
borrow a sum not exceeding
the amount applied for, and
may lend the same to the ap-
plicant on the completion of
the drainage works.
3. A special annual rate shall
be imposed, levied and col-
lected over and above all other
rates upon the land in respect
of which the money is bor-
rowed, sufficient for the pay-
ment of the principal and in-
terest as provided by the Act.

December, 1969, and all per-
sons are required to take no-
tice that any one who desires
to apply to have the by-laW or
any part thereof quashed must
serve notice of his application
upon the Head or Clerk of this
municipality within 20 days
after the date of the last pub-
lication of this notice, and must
make his application to the
Supreme Court of Ontario with-
in one month after the said
date.
This notice was first published
on the 8th day of January 1970,
and the last publication will
be on the 22nd day of January
1970.

John Guenther of 150
Colborne Ave, Richmond Hill
passed away in York Central
Hospital, Richmond Hill, on
December 24 having taken ill
on Friday and hospitalied on
Sunday.
He was the son of Carl
Guenther and Katherine Crackel
and was born in Chatham where
he attended school. His mother
predeceased him when he was an
infant. He was in his 26th year
and was employed with R.W.D.
Industries; a tool and die maker
of Downsview.
He. attended high school in
Exeter and then resided at
Shipka, later taking employment
in Toronto.
He is survived by his father
Carl and stepmother Mabel
Guenther and two sisters Karen
and Janet of RR 2, Dashwood.
The funeral service took place
at the Harry Hoffman Funeral
Home, Dashwood on December
27 with Rev. Dobson officiating.
Interment took place in
Crediton Cemetery.
