Victoria Hospital diagnosed the injury as a concussion. Lucan has signed a new It defenceman Barkly, who plays very good positional hockey and is very adept at keeping the opposition from getting set in front of the Lucan nets. If he continues this style of play he may be what the Irish require to help them in their try for a ▪ play-off berth. By the time this is published Lucan will have met, on home ice, the Belmont Flyers to whom they lost their opening game. I hope you were there to see the game and let the kids know that the fans in the Lucan area like good hockey, win lose or 0 • draw, but especially WIN!
