New minister inducted
at area Anglican parish

Nic Dud who met with an
accident by falling in his barn
suffered brain damage and
bruises to his legs. He returned
home Saturday from South
Huron Hospital, Exeter.
Norman Dickert returned
home last week from South
Huron Hospital where he has
. been hospitalized several weeks.
Miss Louise Kirk visited a few
days with her friend Pat Hadley,
Blyth, recently,
Mr. & Mrs. Jolly, Exeter, Mr.
Stewart Tribener of Exeter, Mrs.
David Triebner attended the
funeral of a cousin, Lloyd
Schroeder of London, Saturday.
Mr. & Mrs. Louis Kirk and
Paul visited with Mr. & Mrs.
Nelson Helmer and family, St,
Thomas recently.
Miss Mae Somerville of
Winnipeg, who visited Mr. &
Mrs. Nelson Hood for the past
seven weeks returned home,
Friday.
Brock Parker of Parry Sound
and fiancee visited recently with
their friend Brian Triebner.

Stanley visited Mr. & Mrs. Louis
Kirk and family, recently.
Mrs. Norman Long returned
home Thursday after a few

Mrs. George Clifton who
underwent surgery three weeks
ago in St. Joseph's Hospital,
London, is reported to be
improving.
Ronald Weir of Stratford
visited. Saturday with his

75 women and six clergy present
from the parishes of the Deanery
at Grace Church, Mt. Brydges.

Hallowe'en party
The annual Hallowe'en party
was held in the Anglican Church
Hall last Sunday. About 60 were
present. Stories, games and
treats were the order of the day.
Prizes were awarded to Holly
Elson, prettiest costume; John
Storey, most original; Bonnie
Avery, funniest; Tim Culbert,
scariest; Roger Lewis, strangest.
Stories were told by Mr.
Carson and games were in the
charge of Nancy Hardy and Julie
Henderson,
Lunch was provided by Mrs.
Carson, Mrs. Culbert and Mrs.
Wilkinson. The hall was
decorated by Helen Shipway,
Dwight Henderson and Julie
Hardy.
