The public display will be followed by on-farm demonstrations and the taking of orders for the equipment. Two 8-horsepower tractors and a pair of smaller four-wheel drive tractors, all made by The Zetor Farm Machinery Company, will arrive by ship in Toronto around Nov. 1 from Prague, Czechoslavakia. They have been shipped from Hamburg, Germany. Five representatives of the Zetor company will accompany the tractors. The tractors will be taken across the province after the OFA convention for on-farm demonstrations. Officials of the Farm Machinery Agency state that the demonstrations will determine if this machinery is acceptable to Ontario farmers. If interest is such to warrant further action, the Farm Machinery Agency will take orders from farmers and the Zetor company will go ahead with plans for opening a parts depot in Montreal, Quebec. The Czechoslavakian company makes general farm equipment. The Zetor machinery has been available on the United Kingdom for about three years. Agency officials have revealed that there has also been contact with Irish, Japanese, and Australian farm machinery representatives concerning possible markets. ATTENTION: FARMERS WE WANT YOUR R W.
