Ross McNicol and Janice, Hensall, visited Sunday with Mr. & Mrs. Bob Norris and family. 4-H Meeting four of the Stella Seamsters 4-H Homemaking club was held at the home of Mrs. Spencer Jeffery, Tuesday evening. Roll call was answered by 12 girls. Mrs. Jeffery discussed the proper care of the skin. Guest speaker Mrs. Ackinson showed the proper use of make-up and demonstrated on two of the girls how to apply it properly. Elliott were in charge of the meeting which opened with a reading by Mrs. Haist, Passages of scripture were ready by Mrs. Haist and Mrs. Essery followed by prayer by Mrs. Elliott. The study was built around the theme "Bridging the gaps between those who have and those who have not." They were reminded that all are alike in God's Kingdom. All must be concerned about the needs of others. Poverty is often the cause of bitterness and unrest. Musical numbers included lam) solos by Lois Elliott and Mrs. Alvin Essery. Mrs. Harvey Smith conducted the business. The program committee were the hostesses. Thomas Ryan, Corbett, has returned home from St. Joseph's Hospital after being a patient there for the past three weeks. Richard Trainor, Hamilton, was a weekend visitor with his mother, Mrs. Frank Trainor and family, Mr. & Mrs. Gerry Hartman and boys of London spent the weekend with Mr. & Mrs. Wilfred Hogan and Margaret Anne. Miss Mary Lynn Dietrich of Pines College, Chatham and Mr. & Mrs. Richard Mugge, Chatham, were weekend visitors with Mr. & Mrs. Chas.
