Bro, Powell was initiated into Lebanon Forest Lodge in February 1908. Attending from here were Mr, and Mis. The Greenlees called on Mr. & Mrs. Raymond Greenlee, Exeter, Sunday evening. Miss Nancy Tindall spent Saturday with her friend, Miss Robin Revington, Lucan. Canon Nelles, London, was in charge of service at St. Patrick's Church, Sunday. Next Sunday there will not be service at St. Patrick's owing to Harvest Thanksgiving Service at St. Thomas, Granton. INTENDED FOR LAST WEEK Danny Shoebottom a grade 13 student at S.H.D.H.S. had the privilege of spending ten days of his vacation at the Ontario Department of Education Leadership Camp at Bark Lake. Mr. & Mrs. S. Molnar returned home Wednesday after visiting for a few days with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. S. Molnar and family in Agincourt. Mr. & Mrs. George Dunn were Sunday visitors with Mr. & Mrs. John Ridley in Exeter. Mrs. Arthur McFalls spent a few days in London with her family. Sunday they were guests at the home of Mrs. Evelyn Atkinson in Marine City, Michigan. Education had its full complement of 14 members for the first time since the June meeting when it met in the Board Room, Central Huron Secondary School, Monday evening. This was the result of the appointment by the Board of John R. Taylor, Belgrave, to fill the unexpired term of Norman Shepherd, Wingham, who has been unable to attend the last few meetings. The Board appointed Mrs. Vivian Agnes Smith, Adastral Park, Canadian Forces Base, Clinton, as secretary to the principal of Central Huron Secondary School, Clinton, at an annual salary of $4,100. At the same time, the Board accepted the resignation of her predecessor, Mrs. K. Johnston, also of Adastral Park, Canadian Forces Base. It also accepted the resignation of J.E. Caldwell, RR 2 Kippen, secretary, Huron Centennial Public School, Brucefield.
