Miss Olive Speare presided at
the September meeting of the
Women's Missionary Society of
Cromarty church which was held
at the home of Mrs. E. Moore.
The meeting opened with a
poem followed with devotions
led by Miss Speare.
The Study lesson "Preparing"
was presented by Mrs. J. R.
Jefferson and Mrs. K. McKellar.
Roll call was answered by
naming a country where the
Bible Society is working.
Business was conducted by
Mrs. T. L. Scott.
Mrs. C. McKaign read a
prayer which was composed by
the late Mrs. S. A. Miller.
Mrs. M. Lamont gave
highlights of the work of the
Bible Society. Miss Speare
conducted a Bible quiz and
closed the meeting with prayer.
