The congregation was joined by members of St. Thomas, Granton. Next Sunday, the rector Rev. S. Bell will preach his farewell sermon at St. Thomas, Granton, at 11 o'clock. The other two churches, Kirkton, St. Pauls and St. Patrick's, Saintsbury, will join in the service. Rev. S. and Mrs. Bell plan to attend the closing day Tuesday of the Bible school at St. Patrick's Church and the leaders hope for a full attendance. PERSONALS Michael Muller, who has been holidaying with his cousin Gary Barker returned home to London, Sunday. Misses Jean Barker, Marylou Tindall, Nancy Tindall and Carol Eaton and Jeffrey Young have returned home after holidaying with Mr. & Mrs. Earl Greenlee and boys. Mary Jean Barker spent Saturday night with Cathy Hem, Lucan. Mrs. Alvin Essery and Mrs. Leda Sorensen visited Friday with their aunt, Mrs, Ethel Eagleson at Grand Bend. Mrs. Ed, Simpson, London and Mrs. Samson McFalls, Exeter were weekend visitors with Mrs. Arthur McFalls. Sunday they were guests at the home of Mr. & Mrs, Gerald Glenn and Randal, Hensall. Mr, & Mrs. Lloyd Morgan attended the funeral of the latter's cousin, Cyril Williams, Edgeware Road, St. Thomas, Saturday, Miss Joanne Smyth is holidaying at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Utley in London. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Morgan were very pleasantly surprised Friday, two days after their 45th wedding anniversary when they were taken to Pinafore Park, St. Thomas, where their children Jack Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rundle and Larry, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Brintnell, Terri and Scott, all of Woodham, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wilson, Sandra, Warren and Perry of Lakeside; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Reihl of Stratford; Barb Sweitzer and Johnson family. Mr. & Mrs. Earl Greenlee were Saturday evening guests with Mr. & Mrs. Eaton, London. Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Davis and Michael were guests Sunday with Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Glenn, Exeter. Miss Gloria Myers, London, visited her cousin Miss Heather Davis last week. Miss Wendy Trainor and Rita Anne Carey are enjoying a few days holidays in London this week. Mrs. Winnie Dignan and Miss Judy Ryan, London, visited with Mr. & Mrs. Norman Ryan and Bernie Madden on the weekend. A very enjoyable time was had by all the relatives of the McCann family when they gathered at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Arnold McCann, Saturday. Mrs. Marie Ryan has returned home from St. Joseph's Hospital and is feeling much better. Richard Trainor, Hamilton, spent the weekend with Mrs. Frank Trainor and family; Earl returned home with him Sunday evening to visit for a week. Miss Mary Eileen Carey and Jean Helen were guests of Mr. & Mrs. Wm. Sturdevant at their cottage in Grand Bend last week. Miss Margaret Hall of London spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. & Mrs. John Hall and family. Honor bride in Dashwood By MRS. IRVIN RADER DASHWOOD Mrs. Marie Restemayer and Miss Janet Miller were co-hostesses at a miscellaneous shower at the latter's home, Friday, August 22 for Miss Lynn Parkes, bride-elect of September. Neighbors of the groom were guests. The evening was spent playing bunco. Lynn was recipient of many lovely gifts for which she graciously thanked all.
