Gary Urquhart played his guitar at a music competition sponsored by the conservatory of music at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto last Thursday. Misses Monica and Ellen Eveleigh are holidaying with their aunt and uncle, Mr. & Mrs. Doug Atchison at Port Bruce. Bill McGuffin of Saulte Ste. Marie has been visiting with Mr. & Mrs. A. D. Irvine. Mr. & Mrs. Art Julian of Utica, Mich., has been visiting with Mr. & Mrs. Miller McCurdy. Miss Linda and Bob Marshall are spending this week with Mr. & Mrs. Ron Marshall of Guelph. Mr. & Mrs. Lorne Marshall are spending the week at Red Bay. Mr. & Mrs. Fred Switzer and Mr. & Mrs. Unke of Cavalier, N.D. spent last Monday evening with Mr. & Mrs. Fred Switzer. Members of the Black Presceptory, LOL and LOBA will attend church in a body at eleven o'clock at St. Paul's Anglican Sunday, July 27. Several relays were also enjoyed. Group 1 of the Ladies' Aid served a bountiful picnic supper during which several special prizes were awarded: special plate, Mrs. Melvin Stade; youngest baby, Ross Keller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Keller; oldest person, Ed Nadiger; closest wedding date, Mrs. Leonard Schenk; guessing the weight of the watermelon, Mrs. Jim Becker. Mr. & Mrs. Charles Martine, Mr. & Mrs. Dean McKnight and Deanne attended the Kowalsky-Bond wedding at Chatham Saturday. The bride is Mrs, Martine's niece. Mrs. Erwin Schade is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital, London, where she underwent surgery. Mrs. Lorne Genttner is a patient in South Huron Hospital, Exeter. Mr. & Mrs. Ross Love attended a birthday party for Hubert Hodgins of Granton on the occasion of his 85th birthday, Sunday, in St. Thomas Anglican Church. John Kellerman spent a few days at home with his parents Mr. & Mrs. Harold Kellerman prior to leaving for England July 18, where he is one of a group of three sent by the government to represent Canada at the International conference to establish contact and international travel exchange for the handicapped. His parents accompanied him to Toronto. Mr. & Mrs. Harold Hendrick and family spent Sunday at Southampton with Mr. & Mrs. Ronald Heintel and family. Miss Judy Datars, who had been holidaying there returned to her home in Exeter with them. Dianne Rader and Joanne Isreal of Stratford spent last week with Mrs. Hilda Haugh. Mr. & Mrs. Mike Burke and Susan of Brampton were visitors with Milt Haugh. Mr. & Mrs. Geo. Tieman, Mr. & Mrs. Mervin Webb and Mr. & Mrs. Hubert Miller spent the weekend at Niagara Falls sightseeing. Mr. & Mrs. Peter Yarema and Sarah of Ottawa spent several days last week with Mr. & Mrs. Alvin Walper at Sunset Ranch, Dashwood North. A number of relatives from Dashwood attended the Mittleholtz-Becker wedding at St. James. Lutheran Church, New Dundee, Saturday. Among ,thv guests were Mr.. & Mrs. V. L.
