Edgar E. Wuerth, 73, died at
Victoria Hospital Wednesday
following a three year illness.
Born in Crediton, he is
survived by his wife, the former
Ada Brown, Blue Water Rest
Home; one brother, Alf, Exeter;
and a sister, Mrs. E. (Albertina)
Glanville, New Westminster, B.C.
Funeral is Saturday at 1;30
p.m, from the Westlake Funeral
Home, Zurich. Burial will be at
Creditor).
MRS. GRANT ACRES
Mrs. Grant Acres, 47,
Granton, passed away Tuesday
in St. Joseph's Hospital. Funeral
service is today (Thursday) from
St. Thomas Anglican Church,
Granton,
Interment will be in Oakland
Cemetery, Delaware.
The deceased, the former
Laura Elizabeth Blake, is
survived by her husband, two
sons, Harold, RR 6 St. Marys
and Richard of London; three
daughters, Mrs. Harry (Carol)
Doyle, Montreal; Sharon and
Violet at home; her mother, Mrs.
Violet Blake, Jordon, Ontario;
one brother, John of Montreal;
and one sister, Mrs. William
(Josephine) Green, Ottawa.
GORDON MILLER
Gordon Miller, Crediton, was
found dead in his home Friday.
The deceased had been known
to suffer of a heart condition
and death was of natural causes.
Born in Hay Township, he
was the son of the late William
Miller and Anna Held. He is
survived by a sister, Mrs. Matilda
Voisin, RR 3 Ailsa Craig and a
brother, Daniel Miller, London.
The funeral mass was in Our
Lady of Mount Carmel Church

the Parish Hall for the children
of this community each Tuesday
morning at ten o'clock. Mrs.
Ron Carroll and Miss Heather
Davis is assisting the rector.
Mrs. Lena Clarke and Jean of
Dunnville are visiting relatives in
this area. They spent the
weekend with Mr. & Mrs. Tom
Kooy and Mr. & Mrs. Clayton
Kooy and Bonnie and called on
Mr. & Mrs. Heber Davis,
Saturday evening.
Mr. & Mrs. Earl Greenlee
were guests Saturday at the
Watson-Loft wedding in Ilderton
United Church and at the
reception which followed at the
Shillelagh, Lucan.
Mr. & Mrs. Bill Johnson and
boys spent the weekend visiting
friends at North Bay.
Mr. & Mrs. Harry Carroll and
Mr. & Mrs. Heber Davis were
guests at the 85th birthday
celebration for Hubert Hodgins,
Granton, in the basement of St.
Thomas Church, arranged by his
family, Sunday afternoon. They
also called on Mrs. Hilson
Hodgins who will celebrate her
100th birthday in September.
Misses Nancy and Marylou
Tindall who spent last week with
their aunt and uncle at Wiarton
returned home on Sunday. Their
parents drove up and spent the
day with Mr. & Mrs. Allan
Tindall.
Miss Joan Barker
accompanied by Miss Nancy
Robb visited with Mrs. Sears,
Grand Bend, Tuesday evening.
The ladies of St. Patrick s
A.C.W. held their annual outing
last Wednesday in London. All
reported enjoying dinner and a
movie.

Hensall, passed away Tuesday,

Hospital. He was 85 years old.

held from Bonthron Funeral
