in charge. His sermon was
entitled "Christ the Hope of the
World."
The Church was far from
being full, although members of
Holy Trinity were welcome to
join the United congregation
while Rev. R. A. Carson is on
vacation. Some parents are not
aware that their little ones can
be cared for in the nursery class
as in their own Church.
Next Sunday, July 6, the
Sacrament of Holy Communion
will be celebrated, and it is
hoped that a larger congregation,
both United and Anglican, will
be participating.

It should be noted that the

"Streamliners" met last Tuesday

they could join the Exeter club
at their meeting.
Weigh-in was good, but very
little business was attended to,
as all members concentrated on
finishing the banner in time for
the Convention at Toronto.
Members attended meeting
and crowning of Exeter
Centennial Slimmers. The Queen
crowned at this ceremony was
Mrs. Elsie McDonald and the
runner-up, Mrs. Jo Anne Riggs,
Games were enjoyed and a
delicious diet lunch served by

the ladies were thrilled at the
display of beautiful banners, but
were satisfied that their own
effort was at least shown in the
gallery.

convention was a lady who had
lost 165 lbs, in the year.
Most interesting item to
