The vehicle, parked in front of the Bank of Montreal on King Street Saturday afternoon, was not too badly damaged. Hensall bride feted at shower Miss Verlyn Miller, RR 1 Hensall, bride of Saturday was honored at a shower by the ladies of Faith Tabernacle, Centralia and Exeter Pentecostal Church, at her home Monday evening. Mrs. Vivan Cooper of Kippen read the presentation address to Miss Miller who was presented with many lovely gifts. Contests were enjoyed and lunch served. Hensali girl is dietician Miss Ann Mickle left .hy plane last Friday morning for Montreal and from there by bus to St. Agathe a distance of 57 miles north of Montreal in the Laurentians. She then transferred to a taxi to reach Camp Carowanis, about five miles from St. Agathe, She will spend seven weeks there as the . assistant Dietitian. There will be two groups of children during the summer and each group will have, 100 children and will stay for a period of three Weeks. The, purpose of the camp is to provide a healthy, happy summer for diabetic children between the ages of 8 and 15 years, as well as an educational and growth experience under competent medical and counselling supervision.
