Ponies face
muddy track
Although the weather again
was far from ideal for the second
pony race meet of the season,
another exciting card of races
was held on Sunday.
The races were held on the
club's new track, situated behind
the chutes of the Exeter
Fairgrounds. The track record
for the new track is a very
respectable 1:51.2.
Even with such a muddy
track the starting gate, donated
by Huron Motors, Zurich, and
painted by Har Brintnells Body
Shop, did an exceptional job of
the starts.
A new feature of the Club is a
new judges stand donated by
Conklin Lumber, Exeter.
