Industries committee held their
safety meeting Tuesday, June 3
With Mrs. Emil Becker convener,.
Roll call was answered by 18 members who gave a safety rule
for summer. There were also
eleven visitors.
Mrs. Mervyn Tiernatl
discussed the motto, "Cultivate
safety and cultivate happiness."
Guest speaker, OPP Corporal
John Wright stressed safety on
bicycles on the road.
The 4-H girls were present,
Debbie Riddell of Club 1 gave
her demonstration and Club 2
gave their skit.
President Mrs, Howard Maier
dealt with the business, It was
decided to support the athletic
field and a donation was
pledged.
Mrs. Hugh Boyle reported on
the Officers' Conference held at
the University of Guelph and
Mrs. Glen Webb reported on the
District Annual.

John Kellerman who was a
patient in South Huron Hospital,
Exeter, has returned home;
Lorne Beaker is a patient there
with a fractured leg; Mrs. Aaron
Restemayer has returned home
from St. Joseph's Hospital,
London.

Sharon were Sunday visitors
with Mr. & Mrs. Fred Miller and
girls of Zion.
