DOUGLAS GLENN McBeath TOMATO JUICE Miracle Whip Heinz Fancy neesade 94atielt The choir of St. Boniface Church, Zurich, was accompanied by Mrs. Stephen Meidinger at the organ Saturday for the wedding of Laura Ann Grenier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Grenier, RR 1 Dashwood, and Glen Francis Overholt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Overholt, Centralia. Rev. A. Durand performed the ceremony amid baskets of pink gladioli and white and yellow mums. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of lagoda crepe fashioned with a scoop neckline. Pearled chantilly lace outlined the empire gown and a detachable train hemmed with chantilly lace fell from a large bow at the back waist. Her chantilly lace headpiece was crested with pearls and held her shoulder-length veil. She carried deep pink roses and white mums. Bridal attendants were Judy Regier, London, Rose Marie Grenier, Dashwood, and Barbara Grenier, sister of the bride, Dashwood. They wore floor-length gowns of lilac chiffon with a matching cape. They carried flower baskets of light pink carnations and white mums. Gary Overholt, Centralia, was best man. Gerard Grenier, Dashwood, and John Overholt, London, ushered the guests. The wedding reception was held at the Dashwood Community Centre. For travelling to Northern Ontario, the bride changed to a two-piece suit of lilac, matching hat, black patent accessories and a corsage of pink carnations. The young couple will reside at RR 3 Zurich. 7W apt - 2Uede A floor-length gown of blush pink pure silk organza was chosen by Donalda Irene Wise, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Basil Preszcator, Exeter, for her marriage Saturday in James St. United Church to Robert James Wilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Wilson, London. The gown featured a fitted bodice highlighted by delicate Swiss guipure lace forming a high collar and long full sleeves caught by cuffs at the wrists. A wide belt gave the effect of a cumberbund, while elegance was portrayed in the gently controlled bell skirt. A wide band of the same Swiss lace silhouetted the hem. The main centre of attention was focused on the pink silk organza chapel veil, also touched at the bottom with lace, and caught up by a matching bow accented by a short blusher veil and soft streamers. She carried eighteen white and pink sweetheart roses, lily of the valley and white satin ribbon. Rev. Hugh C. Wilson officiated at the ceremony amid pink candelabra and ferns. Preceding the bride to the altar were Miss Connie Robinson, London, and Miss C h a rm a ine Wise, Exeter, bridesmaids who provided a colorful background in their full-length gowns of shimmering seaform silk shantung. Sleeveless fitted bodices were accented by delicate ruffles at the high neckline. Their slightly gathered skirts fell from wide belts at the waists. To add a final touch, they wore matching bow headpieces and carried hand clusters of light pink roses, lily of the valley and light pink velvet ribbon. John Charles Thomas, London, attended the groom as best man, and Peter Balsano, London, ushered guests. The wedding reception was held in James St. Church parlors and the Exeter Legion Hall. The bride's mother chose a cocktail dress of delicate French chantilly lace in sapphire blue styled along skimmer lines. A scalloped cape-effect fell from the gathered V-neckline trimmed with a large matching organza bow, she wore a white organza hat, white accessories, a mink stole and corsage of deep red • EXETER DAIRY PHONE 235-2144 American Beauty roses and baby fern. The groom's mother wore a navy knit jacket dress, capri blue hat and accessories and a corsage of dark pink roses and baby fern. Wedding guests attended from London, Byron, Thamesford, St. Thomas, Montreal, Stratford, Toronto and Exeter. For a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and points east, the bride donned an aqua lace minu dress with bell sleeves and an empire waist, white accessories, a mink stole and a white gardenia corsage. The couple will reside at 309 Belfield Rd., London. Previous to her marriage, the bride was feted at showers given by Mrs. Elizabeth Burk, London, and Mrs. Pete Durand, Exeter. Dee-awe-me - ea./. Mr. and Mrs. Willie Joseph Denomme are honeymooning in north eastern Ontario following their wedding Saturday in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. The bride, the former Sharon Darlene Baker, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Baker, Grand Bend. The groom is the son of Bob Denomme, Exeter, and the late Madeline Denomme. White gladioli, yellow and white daisies and candelabra decorated the church for the ceremony. Paul Dietrich, Mount Carmel, was organist and provided traditional wedding music. Escorted by her father, the bride chose a floor-length gown of white lagoda. The empire style was trimmed with guipure lace on the neckline and long sleeves. A flowing train cascaded from the back of the gown and a pearl tiara held her shoulder-length veil. She carried red roses and white daisies. Miss Jean Ann Denomme, Exeter, was maid of honor in floor-length blue peau de sore, matching rose headpiece and veil and blue accessories. She carried yellow roses and white mums. Leo Debus, Zurich, was best man. A reception followed at the home of the groom. For travelling, the bride changed to a blue and green suit, white accessories and a corsage of pink roses. They will live in Exeter. Eate4 M qea.ef,e Joyce Maureen Hayter RN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Hayter, Varna, became the bride of Douglas Glenn McBeath, Walkerton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex McBeath, Kippen, at a ceremony in Varna United Church May 10. Rev. Murdock Morrison, Varna, and Rev. Stewart, Brucefield, officiated at the ceremony performed amid baskets of white shasta mums, yellow poms and candelabra. Soloist Miss Mary Ann . Hayter, Dashwood, was accompanied by the organist, Mrs. Shirley Hill, Varna. On the arm of her father, the bride looked stunning in her floor-length wedding gown of white lagoda. The bodice of delicate Swiss guipure lace was highlighted by a wedding band collar touched with beading, long sleeves and an empire waist. Elegance was portrayed in the gently controlled A-line skirt while the main center of attention was focused on the detachable chapel train, completely silhouetted with hand-clipped appliques of the same guipure lace.
