To Customers of the Exeter
Public Utilities Commission with
ELECTRICALLY
HEATED HOMES
To standardize hydro services for electrically
heated homes with the Ontario Hydro and other
Hydro Utilities, the consumption used in
electrically heated residences will no longer be
separated from the rest of the domestic
kilowatt-hours. For an interim period the
kilowatt-hours on both meters will be totalled and
billed at domestic rates. Eventually one meter will
be removed and all comsumption will register on
one meter.
As the domestic electrical heating rate and the
end normal domestic rate are the same, no increase
In operating costs should be experienced by the
customer. In some instances a reduction in rates
may be experienced.

The Walther Leaguers of Zion
Lutheran church welcomed the
newly confirmed young people
by entertaining them, their
parents and leaguers' parents at a
social evening.
Bunco was played with
winners Darlene Rader and Rick
Hayter; low, Olga Zetnetis and
John Becker.
The leaguers served lunch and
conducted closing devotions.

Mrs. M. Lamond was hostess
for the. May meeting of the
Women's Missionary Society of
Cromarty Presbyterian Church,
Mrs. T. L. Scott presided and
led in devotional. Mrs. Calder
McKaig and Mrs. Grace Scott
presented a portion of the Study
Book, entitled "Working."
The offering was dedicated by
Mrs. Verna Brooks. Prayers for
missions were led by Mrs. E.
Moore.
The roll call "Work" was
answered with a verse of
scripture by 14 members,
Mrs. McKaig reported 29
letters and cards sent and eight
visits to the sick.
