It is 50 years since the branch at Crediton was organized and past presidents and secretaries were invited back for a small celebration. The minutes of the last annual meeting were read and the treasurer's, good cheer and hospital reports were given. Mrs. Lorne Hodge reported on the South Huron Board meeting. The reports of the Branch Standing Committees were given by each convener. Mrs. Hodgins reminded all of 4-H Achievement Day to be held in Dashwood May 10. Roll call, "An Interesting Event I Remember as a WI Member" was well answered and dues were paid. Brock of Exeter, gave a short talk on their years with the Crediton Women's Institute. Mrs. W.D. Mack extended greetings from the district and told of some of her recollections as a WI member. Hostesses were Mrs. L. Hodge, Mrs. W. Weber, Mrs. S. King, Mrs. E. Fahrner and Mrs. I. Finkbeiner. PERSONALS Miss Pearl Fahner has returned home from South Huron Hospital. Mrs. Gedcke of Listowel is spending some time with her daughter, Mrs. Gordon Finkbeiner. Mrs. Viola Wilson and four boys in her care have moved from London to the home once occupied by Chester Mitton.
