Wilson for his Easter message to a large congregation including many visitors in the United Church, Sunday morning. A solo was sung by Mrs. Russell Wilson and Mrs. Pat Soldan was the organist. Easter decorations were tastefully arranged to form an appropriate setting for the service. PRESENTS CANTATA Easter was the theme for the U.C.W. meeting in the schoolroom of the church, Thursday evening with Mrs. Robert Blair, Mrs. Alvin Essery, Mrs. George Hicks and Mrs. Gerald Isaac in charge of the program. Mrs. Blair opened the meeting with a reading. The Scripture reading was given by Mrs. Gerald Isaac and was followed with prayer by Mrs. A. McFalls. Mrs. George Hicks gave an Easter reading. Mrs. Alvin Essery announced the presentation of the Easter Cantata "The Rock Speaks" with Mrs. Gerald Godbolt taking the part of the narrator. The speaking was interspersed with singing by a ladies' choir composed of Mrs. V. Drought, Mrs. R. Wilson, Mrs. K. Hodgins, Mrs. J. Essery and Mrs. Ross McFalls. A solo was sung by Mrs. Wilson and a duet by Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Drought. Mrs. Lorne Hicks was the pianist for the service. Mrs. Harvey Smith presided over the business. Rev. Harmen Heeg of Exeter was the guest speaker. Following the service breakfast was served in the Sunday School rooms. During the ten o'clock service in Zion United Church the choir, assisted by former members, presented the contata "Hallelujah for the Cross" by John Peterson.
