United Church recently for the
wedding of Wilma Ruth Bullock,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. T.
Bullock, RR 3 Parkhill, and
Douglas Arthur Kingsbury,
Preston, son of Mrs. V.
Kingsbury, Parry Sound, and the
late Mr. Kingsbury,
Rev. G.E. Morrow conducted
the service.
Escorted by her father, the
bride wore a full-length white
satin gown featuring an empire
waist, scoop neckline and an
elegantly tapered A-line skirt
sweeping to a cathedral train.
Roses were appliqued on the
neckline and the hemline of the
gown and pearls and roses held
her shoulder-length veil. She
carried a cascade of red roses
and ivy.
Matron of honor was Mrs.
Marion Leyton, RR 2 Parkhill,
sister of the bride. She chose a
floor-length gown of orange
chiffon over yellow satin. The
gown featured yellow and
orange flowers at the scoop
neckline and waist. She carried
yellow mums and orange
carnations with green streamers.
Bridesmaids were Betty
Bullock and Eleanor Bullock,
sisters of the bride, RR 3
Parkhill. They wore green satin
A-line dresses styled with lace
bodices and floor-length trains
which fell from the back
necklines from a large bow.

by Father Graham in
Immaculate Heart of Mary
Church, Grand Bend. Herman
Huiberts, brother of the bride,
escorted his sister to the altar.

bridesmaid was Mrs. Alice
Wynsouw, sister of the bride,
Vancouver.
Mr. & Mrs. Don Wilson spent
Good Friday in Detroit and
Easter Sunday and Monday in
Toronto.
Mr. & Mrs. Alex Rohde of
Mitchell visited Sunday with
Mrs. Milton Sleamon. They also
visited Mr. Sleamon who is a
patient in South Huron Hospital.

Church Saturday. Rev. H.F.
Currie officiated at the
ceremony.
On the arm of her father, the
bride wore a floor-length gown
of white satin crepe styled with
a lace inset at the neckline. Her
three-quarter length sleeves were
trimmed with matching lace. A
full-length train fell in gentle
folds at back. A flowered
headpiece held her
shoulder-length veil in place and
she carried a hand cluster of
aqua and orange carnations,
white mums, stephanotis and
orange roses.
Mrs. Carol Littleton, London,
was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Miss Barb
Gnatuk, Hamilton and Miss
Donna Gnatuk, Hamilton,
Flowergirl was Miss Charlene
Littleton, London.
Mrs. Littleton wore a
floor-length gown of aqua
chiffon over taffeta, white
accessories and carried aqua
carnations, white mums and
greens. The bridesmaids chose
floor-length gowns of orange ice
chiffon over taffeta, white
accessories and carried orange
ice carnations, white mums and
greens.
The flowergirl had a white
floor-length gown of peau de
soie, wore an aqua ribbon in her
hair and carried a basket of
mixed flowers.
Best man was Wayne
Littleton, London. Ronald
Moore, Exeter, and Jim
Sweitzer, Dashwood, ushered
guests.
Following a reception at CFB
Clinton, the couple left for a
honeymoon to Montreal and
Quebec City. The bride travelled
in a honey beige suit, black
accessories and a corsage of
yellow roses.
They will reside in Hensall.

Our Lady of Sorrows Church,
Aylmer, was the scene of the
recent wedding ceremony in
which Gertrude Maria Terpstra,
RR 3 St. Thomas, became the
bride of Gerard Joseph Cornelis,
RR 1 Clandeboye.
The bride is the daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
Terpstra and the groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Omer
Cornelis, Belgium.
Given in marriage by her
brother Nick Terpstra, the bride
wore a full-length gown styled
along princess lines with a lace
train. She carried orange roses
and white carnations.
Mrs. John Uanrooy was
matron of honor for her sister
and Miss Maria Terpstra and Miss
Catherine Terpstra, also sisters
of the bride, were bridesmaids.
