Mrs. Alan Hill entertained

ACW Thursday afternoon, Mrs.
Jim Cunningham presided.
Mrs. Cecil Carter read the
scripture lesson. Roll call was
answered with a verse of
scripture containing the word
"cross."
A thankoffering was received
to be sent in to St. Paul's
Cathedral.
The Meditation was given by
Mrs. Cunningham. Mrs. Almer
Hendrie presented a Bible
contest which was won by Mrs.
Alvin Cunningham.
The ladies have completed a
quilt which will be sent to
Monica House, Kitchener.
Mrs. Hill served refreshments.

At the last meeting Saturday
at the Lucan-Clandeboye 4-H
club, Mrs. R.B. Worthington,
leader, was presented with a cup
and saucer by Joan Lewis.

The meeting of the UCW in
Clandeboye was held at the
home of Mrs. Andy Thompson
Monday afternoon.
Mrs. W.C. Tupling announced
the formation of Clandeboye
UCW. The regional meeting is set
for Ailsa Craig April 23.
