Mr. & Mrs. Oliver and Debbie, St. Marys and Anna Oliver, Exeter were Sunday visitors of Mr. & Mrs. Ross Duffield. Institute agreed to cater for the men's club father and sort banquet April 28. Roll call, "Something I wished I hadn't bought and why," was answered by the husbands of the members. Linda Haugh and Shelley Weber played selections on their accordions. Mrs. Bruce Shapton read the motto "I3e Friendly to Have Friends," and Mona Hodgins played a piano solo. Kathy Davey, Janet and Bevan Shapton sang several songs and Mrs. Harvey Hodgins and Glen favoured with a duet on the piano and electric guitar. Sandra and Wayne Shapton and Janice and Keith Davey entertained the group with humorous selections and the Gibson brothers played duets on their accordions. After the program the adults played euchre while the children enjoyed bingo, Winners at Euchre were men's high, Harold Penhale; men's low, Bruce Shapton; ladies' high, Mrs, Earl Neil; ladies low, Mrs. Clayton Sims; booby prize, Mrs. Irvine Finkbeiner. To the strains of the Bridal Chorus played by Mrs. Ross Ballantyne Faye was escorted by her cousin Miss Janis Duncan to a prettily decorated chair. Mrs. Barry Miller was in charge of the program which consisted of accordion selections by Mrs. Ross Ballantyne, a humorous reading "Speaking To Her Father" by Mrs. Floyd Stewart, and a vocal solo by Miss Linda Hackney accompanied by Miss Agnes Bray.
