Wednesday, February 12 at the

devotions and lunch.
Rev. E. E. Steinman had part
two of the Altar Guild guide.
The president, Mrs. Lorne
Genttner, dealt with the
business. It was decided to visit
the Bluewater Rest Home in
June. The Big R Mission movie
will be shown at the April
meeting. Bus trips were
discussed but no decision was
made.

The February meeting of the
UCW of Calvary United Church
was a work day at which much
was accomplished by the ladies.
Quilting which continued into
the evening, bandages were
rolled and hospital gowns were
made. A bale of used clothing
was also packed. The kitchen
received a thorough house
cleaning.
The busy afternoon was
following by a tasty pot luck
supper.
Mrs. Lloyd Eagleson was in
charge of the evening program
and read a short devotional
selection. Mrs. Jack Gaiser read
the scripture and Mrs. Eben
Weigand favoured with a
selection of poetry,
It was decided to visit the
Bluewater Rest Home in March.
4-H MEETINGS
Club No. 1 held the first
meeting with 13 girls and the
leaders Mrs. Gordon Bender and
Mrs. Stuart Wolfe.
Election of officers resulted
with president, Olga Zemetis;
vice-president, Darlene Rader;
secretary, Diane Becker;
treasurer, Debbie Riddell.
They decided to call their
club "Dashwood Dainty
Diners".
Books were handed out and
the course discussed.
The second meeting was held
with 10 girls present. Roll call
was answered by naming a
favourite meat dish.

stuffed, flank steak, breakfast
sausage, and glazed potatoes and
weekend with the former's
sisters and families, Mr. & Mrs.
