came through the door carrying
a suckling pig and everyone
quickly pushed his way into the
lineup for a treat of roast pork
and — you guessed it —
sauerkraut.
During the course of the
evening, there were many medals
handed out by Prince Walter in
recognition of special efforts

However, no one needed a
medal for having attended such
an event. It proved beyond any
doubt that we Canadians have
much to learn from our new
fellow citizens and also that the
ethnic groups within our midst
make us much richer in many
ways.
