CHRISTMAS
By David Prout
Grade 4 Usborne
Christmas is a good thing. I
do not like to get all of the toys.
I think of other children in other
countries. They are poor.
Ontario is rich. Black People are
poor. We give to them like
clothes, milk and other thing. It
is wonderful to give to them. We
should like them. The End.
A choir of 31 voices

Director Mrs. Roland
McCaffrey and her singers began

persons from the. surrounding
communities.
Solo numbers we,i•
performed by Douglas Martin,

Ken Johns, Frank Wildfong, Ron
Doehn, Susan McCaffrey and

Organist was Mrs. Frank

despite the icy condition of the
roads.

WINTERTIME
By Joanne Smyth
Grade 7 — McCurdy
Wintertime is a time of leisure
Where children play with lots of
pleasure.
It's gay to see them run about
With snow-balls flying round
about.
The sleigh bells ringle — a ring
ring ring along
It's lovely weather for a sleigh
ride together in town
Giddy-up, Giddy-up lets go, lets
travel along
It's lovely weather for a sleigh
ride together in town.
The trees are loaded with fluffy
white snow.,
In a week or two Christmas will
be hear so —
Every where you find, —•Santa
and his ho! ho! ho!

SANTA GOES TO THE
PARLEMENT BUILDINGS
By Brian Pym
Grade 4 — Usborne
It was the night before
Christmas. And Santa had just
started to go on his journey. The
very first place he went to, was
to see Trudea. It said on
Trudea's letter he wanted
someone to talk to. So Santa got
out a talking barbie. Then Santa
went on. He went to see Mitchell
Sharpe. And he wanted someone
to take his letters and do all the
running around. So Santa got
out a baby first step. Then he
went to see his elves again. The
next morning Trudea and Sharpe
were very happy.
