To our friends and clients.
The holiday season always will be a time for the expres-
s-ion of good will and the exchange of friendly greetings.
Now as we grow older, we have come to cherish some-
thing more valuable than material gifts; instead a true
friendship for all our old and new clients.
Times change, but not in ways of friendship. An old fash-
ioned New Year's Greeting to you and yours full of health
and happiness.

BABY JESUS
By Jill McLellan

Grade 5 — Centennial
In a manger far away,
A little babe was born this
Noney other than this baby
Christ,
He was born of God the
highest.
This tiny little baby boy,
Brought many people much
much joy.
Mary was that mother mild,
Jesus Christ her little child.
His birthday is in the month
of December,
And that day we should
remember.
So, may Christmas bring you
just the best
Of everything that's happiest.
THE MANY JOYS OF
CHRISTMAS
By Sharon Brandon
Grade 8 — Centennial
Did you ever get that feeling,
That's so hard for one to
name,
The setting may be different
But each year it's still the
same?
It makes you want to giggle,
So hard you almost fall,
Or sometimes just plain
happy,
It catches one and all.
It makes you oh, so grateful,
For all you might possess,
And makes you feel like giving
To those who have much less.
It makes you think of Holly,
Wound in wreaths just so,
And mommy kissing Santa,
`Neath the Mistletoe.
It makes you think of tables
And festive goodies there,
When chimes from all the
churches,
And carolr, fill the air.
It makes you think of wise
men,
Coming from a far,
Who brought their gifts to
Jesus,
By following a star.
It makes us think of Scrooge,
Who hated the Christmas way,
I'm glad there's no-one like
him,
In our joyful world today.
For Christmas is a good time,
Fun for young and old,
We're so happy celebrating,
We forget the winter's cold,
Is this the Christmas Spirit,
Is that its proper name?
J, yet know not the answer,
.But I hope it stays the same.
LOOK OUT SANTA! By Nancy DiOtz
Grade 4 — Centennial
Santa Santa Santa Claus
Got a dog with four brown
paws,
It bit. Santa right out of his
pants,
But Santa still called his dog
Lance.
Lance kept bitting at Santa's
pants,
But Santa didn't mind, as
long as he could dance.
One Christmas night Lance bit
Santa's pants,
Tore a hole in it.
How will I be able to take
my rounds?
Said Mrs. Santa, take them
sitting down.
So- off went Santa with a
leap and a bound,
To leave behind only his big
hungry hound.

I have left you milk and cookies
Carrots for the deer,
And each night as Christmas
nears,
I wish with all my might,
That you may make it safe that
night.
I am telling you my two wishes
I would like a bank made like a
pig,
But please not two big,
I also would like a dolly,
Her name would be "Lolly".
So please remember,
Athough it is only November
To make the pig
But not to big
And the dolly
Whose name is Lolly.
THE CHRIST;1AS HOLIDAY
By David Smith
Grade 5 — Centennial
Most children in , the village
where excited about Christmas
but me. I didn't mind
Christmas. It was two dull
horrible days later. I was very
happy that I was going to get
some presents and fun but I
couldn't stop thinking about
going into the dull green
coloured room, where all
those big, machines are. ,Did
',they • • -‘look • pretty weird!
Across from me I could see
about three' pairs of very

sharp silver metal scissors,
Each minute I got more
frightened. It Seemed like the
whole world was ending. I
hated the lOOks of the silver
machines that they would use
to take out my red swollen
sore terrible tonsils. I didn't
want to get a needle or stay
in the hospital overnight if
they started to bleed again+
just couldn't stop thinking
how sore they would be as
soon as I came out of the
drugs, but still they had to
come out!
MRS. CLAUS DELIVERS

One snowy night 1 day

Mrs. Santa. You stay in bed

So that is just what Mrs.
