years. He was formerly of
Dashwood and is survived by a
number of nieces and nephews
in the vicinity.

funeral accompanied by Mr. and
Mrs. Keith Weber of Wingham
and Mrs- Bert Carr of COfford-

home with them and visited with

Dashwood WI was held last
Tuesday at the Blue Water Rest
Home with the executive in
charge and president Mrs. Glenn
Webb as chairlady.
A program of songs by the
teenagers and smaller children
was presented as well as
accordion selections, piano
duets, a skit, and a reading.

Mrs. Fred Dobbs attended the
funeral Wednesday for Sister
Baptiste of Mt. St. Joseph
Academy and later in the day,
she'and her children Freddie and
Patti and Mrs. Irene Marziali and
children visited Santa Claus in
the Wellington St. Mall, London.
Mr. & Mrs. Bill Johnson
attended the Three M party, at
the progress building on the fair
grounds, Saturday evening.
Owing to the heavy fall of
snow and cold, church service
for St. Patrick's Church was held
at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Harry
Carroll. Next Sunday the service
will be held at 1:30 o'clock
followed by a Christmas Sunday
School party.

and Marie Andersen, received
county honors. Mrs. Eben
Weigand received her five-year
certificate as leader.
Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Rader and
Darlene were Sunday visitors
with Mr. & Mrs. Wendell Gamble
and family of London.
Mr. & Mrs. Lorne Genttner
attended the Panter-Lockhart
wedding at Shedden Friday. The
bride is Mrs. Genttner's niece.
The Genttners spent the
weekend in Toronto.
Miss Vicki Miller has returned
home from St. Joseph's hospital
in London and though much
improved in health, is still
confined to her bed.
Ron Braid is a patient in
South Huron Hospital.

by the transfer of membership
from their former churches.
Mr. & Mrs. Ray Shoebottom,
Mr. & Mrs. Murray Neil were the
committee in charge of the
euchre party in the Community
Centre on Monday night. Prizes
were awarded to Mrs. Tom Kooy
for ladies high score; Mrs. Earl
Dixon, lone hands; low score,
Mrs. R. Neil; men's high score,
Heber Davis; lone hands, Percy
Noels; low score, Earl Dixon.
The prize for the closest
anniversary date went to Mrs.

Rev. R. V. Wilson was in
Barrie last week where he
