The Women's Missionary
Society of Carmel Presbyterian
Church held its Christmas
meeting Monday. President Mrs.
R. A. Orr presided and
welcomed members and guests,
Arnold Circle Mission tiroup,
Home Helpers and frienda,
including ladies from Auburn,
Huron Presbyterial Librarian
Mra. Sanderstm of Auburn
displayed her books for
browsing and buying.
Study and devotion
pertaining to Christmas was
taken from the Clad Tidings by
Mrs. Orr and Mrs. Cordon
Schwahn.
Guest speaker Mrs. J. C.
Boyne took for her theme
"Christmas" and stated, "We all
hustle and bustle around for
Christmas and not, preparing
ourselves. The same was done in
Caesar's time and hearts and
minds were prepared for the
Advent in those days." "So they
are new? she continued."It all
dependS on what we put' into
Chriatmes and what we'leave.

Mrs, Boyne expressed
pleasure at being,asked to be thp
special guest speaker as her

family the end of December.

letter was received from the

present with her mother in
London, England, stating she
will continue with her office for
1969.
