Judith Ann Lawson and Wayne
Edward Coleman, London,
exchanged marriage vows in a
double ring ceremony before the
Rev. N. L. Watson amid a floral
background of baskets of cerise
carnations and white mums,
The bride is the daughter of
Mr, and Mrs. John B, Lawson,
Stoney Creek, and the groom's
parents are Mr. and Mrs. W.
Clarence Coleman, Cromarty,
Given in marriage by her
father the bride chose a
floor-length wedding gown of
white peau de sole trimmed with
white satin, styled with a fitted
bodice and natural waistline. Her
headpiece was a white lace
Mantilla, and she carried a
crescent shaped bouquet of red
roses and white stephanotis.
Maid of honor Miss Ruth Ann
Coleman, Cromarty, sister of the
groom, wore a floor-length cerise
velvet gown with natural
waistline and bodice of heavy
lace in pink and cerise tones. She
wore a matching velvet
headpiece and carried a basket
of white mums and maidenhair
fern.
Kenneth M. Briggs, Flint,
Michigan, cousin of the groom
attended as groomsman, and
George Lawson, Stoney Creek,
brother of the bride, and John
Jacobi, London, friend Of the
groom, ushered guests.
For receiving guests at
Sidonia Hall, Stoney Creek, the
bride's mother wore a cranberry
fortrel dress with gold coloured
accessories and a yellow orchid
corsage. The groom's mother
chose a jacket and dress
ensemble of turquoise shantung,
grey and silver accessories and
pink orchid corsage. The hall
was beautifully decorated with
cerise carnations.

Women's Missionary Society of
Cromarty Presbyterian church.
Mrs. Scott presided and
opened the meeting with a
Remembrance Day poem.
The concluding lesson from
the Study Book "Deep Wells"
was presented by Mrs. Mervin
Dow, assisted by Mrs. Calder
McKaig, Mrs. Grace Scott and
Miss Olive Speare, ,
Mrs. T. L. ScOtt led 147
devotions.
The topic was given by Mrs.
Dodds and current events were
given by each member.
Mrs. Grace Scott and Mrs.
Will Miller assisted the hostess in
serving lunch.
