TIED UP TUESDAY
A return game between the
same two clubs in Listowel,
Tuesday night resulted in a 7.7
deadlock.
Most of the scoring in the
game was confined to the first
period as nine goals were tallied
with Crediton leading 5.4 at the
first rest. Each team scored only
once in the second and Listowel
outscored the Tigers 2-1 in the
final with the Crediton club
being forced to come from
behind late in the game with one
goal to gain the draw.
The tie for Crediton was
gained on good team effort with
seven different players sharing in
the scoring. Bob Pinter, Ken
Fraser, Jim Morrissey, Bob
Hoffman and Dennis Morrissey
did the tallying for the Tigers in
the first period.
Pat McKeever scored in the
middle frame and defenceman
Gord Vincent added the final
Crediton counter.

The first Pee Wee game of the
morning was no contest from the
start as Danny Brintnell's Flyers
scored early in the game and kept
on rolling for six more goals. The
only goal for Jim Wildfong's
Aces was scored by Brian
Penhale. Goal scores for the
Flyers were Noel Skinner with
three, John Wuerth two and Steve
Harrison and Tony MacDonald
one each.
The second game was much
closer with a final score of 4 to 3
for Bobby Brands Hawks over
Eugene Glavin's Jets.
Brian Taylor had the "hat
trick" for the Hawks with a single
goal from the stick of Gary
Penhale.
The Jets goals were scored by
three different players, Hugh
Ryan, Wayne Regier and Marty
Martens. Next Saturday the Jets
(Eugene Glavin) take on the
Flyers (Dan Brintnell) from 8 to 9
and the Aces (Jim Wildfong) play
the Hawks (Bob Brand) from
9-10.
The Novice game was close all
the way with a final score of
