MONTHS A SUCCESSFUL HUNTING TRIP—When Grant Cudmore went hunting in Hay township last week he was hoping to come home with a deer, Although, this didn't happen his discovering a lost model aeroplane in the dense bush made a Toronto man very happy. During model plane trials at Centralia over the Labour Day weekend, Jack Humphreys of Toronto had his plane go astray and it was found by Cudmore last week. Mrs. Larry Cronyn is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital, London. The Centralia United Church will participate in the Mission Festival to be held in the Zion United Church, Crediton, by displaying an exhibit of the Social Service work across Canada. The Festival is on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings of this week. Mrs. Phii. Johnston of Glanworth was a Sunday visitor with her Mother, Mrs. Arthur Mc Falls. Mrs. Wm Routly visited Monday with Mr. & Mrs. Jerry Rannie and family of London. A baptismal service was observed Sunday during the church service when Pamela Ann, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Johns, was baptised. Masters Ronnie Webber, Brian Pym and Ricky Skinner were guests of Tor McLennan when he celebrated his birthday Friday. Roll call was "What I consider a special feature in'my record book. - • The girls completed, the covers on their books and some were able to sew on their dresses. , PERSONALS Mrs. Sam Elsie is a patient in South Huron Hospital, Exeter. Irvin Rader, Jack Turnbull and several hunters from Zurich and Palmerston bagged seven deer in the Parry Sound District last week. Seventeen were in attendance. Following dinner , they all returned to the home of Mr. & Mrs. Don Bender in Dashwood where they were presented with a gift. Jim Hoffman of the Hoffman Ambulance Service received his diploma from the Ontario Hospital Services Commission, having completed his course with the Ambulance Emergency Health Service with a standing of over 80%. The course was directed by Dr. M. H. McNally, chief of Emergency Health Services. Mrs. Syd Baker and Mrs. Howard Maier attended the Women's Institute London area convention at Ingersoll last week. Mr. & Mrs. Gordon Bender were entertained recently at the Zurich Hotel on the occasion of their, 35th wedding anniversary by members of their family. By MRS. G. Bagshaw, Birsay, Saskatchewan, wrote a letter, to The Times-Advocate office recently asking that a subscription for George Bagshaw be discontinued. Mr. Bagshaw passed away last December. He has been subscribing to The Exeter Times-Advocate continuously for 50 years. We wonder. Is this a record?
