Using 15 or 2Q-ounce tios which have been well greased
and fitted with a heavy brown paper circle cut to fit the
bottoms, till only three-quarters full, Make a cover by
greasing more heavy brown paper and tieing it securely over
the tops of the cans with heavy string.
Have ready a large dish of steadily boiling water, Set the
puddings in the water, put on the dish cover and steam the
puddings for three hours, If the water in the dish boils
away, add more boiling water.
When cooked, remove from water and set the puddings
aside to get cool enough to handle comfortably. Puddings
should slide out of the moulds when the cans are turned
upside down. Lay the puddings on their sides to cool.
When cold, wrap individually in plastic paper or bags.
Store in the frig or in the freezer until Christmas.
I find they make lovely Christmas gifts when tied with a
red ribbon. — Mrs, Colin Love

CANDLE IN GLASS
A big, beautiful candle in a
brandy snifter or goblet is made
of first warming the glass, setting
it in very hot water, and then
filling it three quarters full with
melted paraffin that has been
cooled until barely "pour-able".
Insert the wax-dipped wick after
the paraffin begins to harden.
