Wednesday, John Snell's 98's downed the Legion 10-5 to take a stranglehold on the series, but the Vets fought back with a 4-1 win Tuesday night to force another game. The fourth game of the.series is expected to be played Sunday afternoon. NORMAN LONG KIPPEN Brucefield United Church was the setting October 12 for the wedding of Miss Vivian Gayle Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Robinson, RR. 3, Kippen, and Robert James Wilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Charles Wilson, Goderich. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Donald Stuart amid a setting of yellow and bronze mums. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a dress of cloud white delustered satin beautifully detailed with bands of French lace threaded in ribbon following the long lines of the dress and chapel train. She carried a crescent of sweetheart talisman roses on a white Bible. Mrs. Dawn Rathwell, Brucefield, was matron of honor for her sister, and bridesmaids were another sister, Cindy Lou Robinson and Carol Walters, Stratford. They wore floor-length mint green chiffon crepe over taffeta skirts topped with green velvet bodices and matching short veiled headpieces. Mike Wilson, Goderich, was best man. Guests from Toronto, Chatham, Welland, Guelph, London, Stratford, Thamesville and the surrounding area were ushered by Wilmer Waltersand Brian Dalters, Stratford, and Everett Robinson, brother of the bride. The wedding dinner was served in the church basement. The bride's mother received her guests wearing an antique gold silk dress with bands of gold beads garnishing the sleeves and neckline and a brocade cloche in shades of toast and gold. The groom's mother assisted in an ensemble of French green silk worsted with matching handmade hat. For a honeymoon to points north and the USA, the bride wore an Albratros wool suit with fur and dark brown accessories. The couple will reside in Goderich. W. H. COOPER W. H. Cooper, 67, Kippen, passed away in Victoria Hospital, London, Saturday where he had been a patient since July, Mr, Cooper farMed and was a thresher for 22 years. He was a member of Kippen -United Church.
