WI was held Wednesday evening.
Nineteen members were present.
Mrs. Bruce Shapton, first
vice-president, welcomed the
members and visitors and took
charge of the business. Mrs.
Harvey Hodgins Was appointed
delegate to the fall conference at
Ingersoll in November.
Mrs. Shapton gave a report of
the rally held at Cranbrook,
October 7;
Mrs, Ross Haugh chaired the
prograin. Sandra and Diane
Shapton favored the members
with two songs.

DOUBLES CLUB
The first fall meeting of the
Happy Doubles Club was held
Wednesday evening in the
church basement.
The theme for the meeting
was "Thanksgiving". The call to
Worship and prayer by Mrs.
William Rohde was followed by
the scripture lesson read by
Floyd Stewart.
There was a reading by Mrs.
Floyd Stewart and an accordion
selection by Calvin Rohde.
Miss Diane Stone showed
pictures on her recent trip to
England and Europe.
Donald Bray presided for the
business. It was decided to sell
boxed nuts again this year. The
club go out for the Christmas
banquet this year instead of
having it at the church.
