Eliniville lads win ball title By MRS. ROSS SKINNER ELIMVILLE The final play-off game for the Jr. Boys' ball teams were played Saturday evening at the Kirkton Fair Grounds. The winners were Elimville over Whalen with a 3-2 score. Congratulations Elimville boys, on your win. The Elimville North Line held their second annual line picnic on Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Elford. Over 50 sat down to a bountiful supper. The Elirnville Women's Institute members and friends enjoyed a bus trip Monday to Goderich. They toured the General Coach at Hensall in the morning and travelled on to Goderich where they visited the Knox Presbyterian Church, Sifto' Salt Plant, the Court House, the Water Intake Filtration Plant and the Huron County Museum. They also enjoyed a picnic dinner at the Harbour Park. Ladies start fall season. By MRS. The theme for the meeting was "What Do You More Than Others". The worship service was given by Mrs. William Rohde, Mrs. Donald Kernick and Mrs. Floyd Stewart, Mrs. Ray Cann favored with a piano solo. Mrs. Mac Hodgert gave a very interesting chapter on the Study Book. Mrs. Murray Dawson gave a reading. Mrs. Ray Cann gave a very interesting report on her weekend at Westminster College in May. Mrs. Rohde opened the business part of the meeting with a poem. The regional meeting of South Huron United Church Women will be held October 23. The meeting closed with prayer and lunch was served by Group 1.
