mums graced the chancel of St.
George's Anglican Church, Lon-
don, for the recent wedding of
Lynda Margaret Hubbard and
Jack Frederick Yungblut.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr; and Mrs. Laurence A., Hub-
bard, of London, and the groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl
yungblut, of Zurich.
Given in marriage by her fath-
er, the bride wore a traditional
floor ,length gown of lagoda
crepe, fashioned with a portrait
neckline with exquisite Belgium
lace trimmIng the elbow sleeves
and forming a frcint panel to
hem- of A-line skirt, from Which
swept a waist detanbable chapel
train, a double crown of Onlpure
lace held the four-tiered scallep-
ed illusion veil in place.She car-
ried a cascade of white and
apricot roses with stephanotis.
The matron of honor was Mrs,
Christine Crook, Toronto, and
bridesmaids were Miss Mary
Klopp and Miss Jennifer Crook,
London, and junior bridesmaid,
Miss Susan Gregory, London.
They were all gowned simil-
arity in chartreuse green chiffon
with Guipure lace a.pplique form-
lig the empire look. They Wore
bow headdresses and carried
cascades of shasta daisies,
The flower girl was Miss Jane
yungblut, London. She wore a
gown of white dotted Swiss nylon
with chartreuse green cummer-
bund and carried a small posy
of white shasta daisies.
Paul Yungblut, brother of the
groom, was best man, andguests
were tishered by Roger Magee,
London, and Ronald Klopp, Kes-
wick.
Following their reception at
Hook's Restaurant the couple left
for a wedding trip to England,
On their return they will re-
side in London where the groom
is currently teaching for the
board of education.

mony in Woodham United Church
on August 9 of Sharon Thomson
and Blair Fletcher.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Thomson,
RR 6 St. Marys. The groom's
parents are Mrs. and Mrs. Ron-
ald Fletcher, RR 1 Woodham.

length gown of white satin, topped
with a lace jacket. A rose held
her two-tier shoulder-length veil

a carib blue gown of Italian
imported satin, A-line with a
scooped neckline and three-
quarter-length sleeves. Her
matching rose headpiece and a
white and blue tinted corsage of
mums completed her ensemble,

August 3 of Philip White and
Sharon Jean Dowson.
The groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Bert White, Clinton,
and the bride's parents are Mr.
and Mrs. Cecil Dowson, RR 1
Varna.
Rev. Murdock Morrison of
Varna and Rev. D. Stevens of
Egmondville officiated at the
double-ring ceremony.
Organist Mrs. Robert Stirling
accompanied Mrs. Ross Math-
ers and Mrs. Russell Lee who
sang Walk Beside You, Wed-
ding Prayer and 0 PerfectLove.
Given in marriage by her fath-
er the bride was radiant in a
floor-length gown of lagoda crepe
fashioned in sheath style with an
empire waist. The cape effect
back gave the gown sleeve ap-
pearance and was edged irtchant-
illy lace. The detachable train
fell froth the waist back in grace-
ful folds. Her fingertip veil of
layered tulle was held in place
by a small band of chantilly lace,
and she carried a white Bible with
white streamers, crested with a
mauve orchid.
Maid of honour was Mary Ellen
Andrews of Clinton. She wore
an A-line styled mauve organza
gown with an empire waist, com-
pleted bodice and elbow ruffled
sleeves covered in crochetted
white lace and edged 14 a daisy
design of the same. She Wore a
headpiece of Material Matching
her dress, made of three small,
flowers and, tulle She carried
a cascade of shasta daisies, and
Mauve netting.
Bridesmaids were Mrs, Doug
DoWson of Exeter and Chris
rts. of RR a 491meaYille. Their
dresses, flowers and headpieces
Were similar to the maid, of
honour. FloWergirl was Kelly
Caldwell of St. Thomas, nleOe
of the bride. She wore a white
outfit, similar to the maid of
honour. Itingbearer was David
Consitt of Zurich, nephew of the
bride.
Groomsman was David Pugh
of Clinton, and guests were
ushered by Doug Dowson, Ex-
eter, and Steve Harris, Holmes-
vine.
A reception was held in the
basement of Varna United
Church, decorated with white
bells and streamers for the oc -
casion. The bride's mother re-
ceived her guests in a dress of
pink linen sheath with three-
quarter length lace coat and a
corsage of white carnations. The
groom's mother chose a pale
blue two piece outfit and wore
corsage, of white carnations,
