Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dickins, London, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dickins, Ailsa Craig, were in charge of a fine program of sports. Winners were Mrs. W. Garrett, Mrs. Tom Kooy, Mrs. Don MacTaggart, Ferlin Sover- ign, Donna McTaggart, Nancy Tindall, Michele Pennell, Ann Paff, Farron Soverign. Urquhart said both yield and quality of peas were well above average. The first of the 1968 corn crop should arrive at the Exeter factory sometime next week. The local manager said, ,,We have been pleasantly surprised with the progress of the corn during the past few days and should have an excellent yield. At the moment we are busy recruiting help and still have some openings. Applications have been a little slower coming in this year."
