at a trousseau tea in honour of

Susan Kipp Tomlinson and
Harry Leroy Jaques exchanged
marriage vows in Woodham
United Church July 20 with Rev.
John King officiating.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. John Tomlinson,
RR 6 St. Marys and the groom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman
:Jaques, RR 1 Centralia.
Given in marriage by her fath-
er, the bride chose afloorllength
gown of rose point lace and lag-
oda crepe, featuring scalloped
neckline, lilypoint sleeves and
cathedral train. A cut crystal and
seed pearl tiara held her veil of
silk illusion, and she carried a
white Bible with trailing ribbons
and stephanotis.
Bridal attendants were Miss
Mary Adams, RR 7, St. Marys,
as maid of honor, and Misses
Linda and Janet Tomlinson, sis-
ters of the bride, bridesmaids.
They were dressed identically
in petal pink chiffon over taffeta
with guipure lace bodices, satin
bow head-pieces and they car-
ried bouquets of white daisies.

sister of the bride, was the
flowergirl, wearing a floor-
length dress of white lagoda crepe
with satin bow head-piece and
carrying a basket of whit e
daisies.
Earl Stephens, RR 1 Woodham,
was best man and ushers were
James Wilkinson, brother-in-law
of the groom, and Barry Tom-
linson, brother of the bride.
Miss Rhea Mills, Woodham,
was organist and accompanied
the soloist, Mrs. William Spence,
RR 6 St. Marys.
The wedding reception was held
in the church parlours.
The bride's mother received
wearing a mint shantung sheath
and matching lace coat with bone
accessories and a gardenia cor-
sage.
The groom's mother assisted
wearing a blue linen weave dresS
with full-length lace coat, white
accessories 'and a gardenia cor-
sage.
For travelling to Niagara
Falls, the bride chose a pink
dress with matching coat, white
accessories and a corsage of
pink rosebuds and white carn-
ations.

Gloria Lenore" Meyers and
Grant Clarence Hohner were un-
ited in marriage recently at
Westminister United Church,
Medicine Hat, Alberta, by Rev.
Robert Thompson.
The bride is the only daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Meyers,
Weyburn, Saskatchewan, and the
groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs, Clarence Bohner, Exeter.
The bride, wearing a sheath
dress of pink lace over taffeta
was given in marriage by her
father. She carried a crescent
bouquet of rosebuds.
She was attended by Mrs. Cath-
erine Meyers, her sister-in-law,
who wore a blue knitted suit.
Virgil Meyers, brother • of the
bride, was best man.
A quiet family supper was held
at the Park Lane Motel with the
parents of both the bride and
groom in attendance.
The couple will reside at Pur-
ple Springs, Alberta, where the
groom is employed on a large
ranch.
For a dessert that is different,
add one cup boiling water to a
cherry flavored gelatine and stir
until well dissolved. Add 1/4 cup
cooking sherry (optional), one tin
creamy rice pudding and one cup
fresh or canned and drained cher-
ries. Serve with whipped cream.

A smorgasbord dinner was
served to 25 relatives by the
hostess, assisted by Mrs. Bruce
Cudmore and Mrs, Arnold Lip-
denfield.
Gifts were presented from the
family by Bruce Cudmore, and
from the brothers and sister by
Edgar Cudmore.
During the evening, Mr. and
Mrs. Gordon Cudmore showed
pictures of their recent trip to
the Maritimes.
DIAMOND ANNIVERSARY
The report received at the T-A
regarding the wedding anniver-
sary of Mr. and Mrs. Percy
Cave, North Surrey, British Col-
umbia, advised that the couple
had celebrated 50 years of mar-
ried life.
We have since been informed
that Mr. and mrs. cave cele-
brated their DiamOnd Anniver-
sary following 60 years of wedded
bliss.

Willing. Workers and the Women's
Missionary Circle of the Exeter
Pentecostal Church was held in
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart
Triebner Thursday evening.
Kathryn Hall gave a word of

Linda Kipfer, vice-president
of the Willing Workers, presided
for the meeting.
During the business, minutes
