Thompson, Mr. & Mrs. Cam Thompson of Listowel were Monday visitors with Mr. & Mrs. John Thomp- son. Mrs. E. L. McKegney of Sarnia is spending a few weeks with Mr. & Mrs. V. Drought. The Church and Sunday School services will be withdrawn in the United Church for the next two Sundays while the minister is on vacation. Mr. & Mrs. W. E. Tripp and family of Ottawa visited for a few days last week with Mr. & Mrs. Harold Tripp. Mrs. G. F. Mrs. Patrick Glavin and moth- er, Mrs. Roherty of Hamilton, have returned home after a pleas- ant two week visit down through New Brunswick to visit relatives. Mr. & Mrs. Clem McCann visited with Mr. & Mrs. Dennis Corriveau in Stratford, Sunday. A large crowd of relatives and friends gathered in the school gym Monday evening to honour Miss Joanne Dietrich, br i d e- elect of August 23. Miss Carolyn Hall read an address and Miss Mary Lynn and Elizabeth Diet- rich, sisters of the bride, assist- ed in opening the many useful gifts.
